A giant tag sale will benefit the Manchester Land Conservation Trust and its work to preserve open space lands. Shop Friday, May 20 through Saturday, May 28 from 9:00 to 3:00 each day. Accepting donations May 2 through May 15 from 10:00 to 2:00. At 330 Bush Hill Road, Manchester, in the old cider barn on our farm property. May's focus is on Connecticut's porcupine and opossums. No registration required for this free, in-person program for adults.

Manchester Veterans Council Meeting Jan. 3 at 7:00 PM. at the Army & Navy Club. The council consists of the Manchester Chapters of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, The Marine Corps League, The Army & Navy Club, Vietnam Veterans Association and the World War I Association. The Council typically meets on the first Monday of each month, except July and August.
