Sculpture Project Mini-Golf Tournament
Sculpture Project Mini-Golf Tournament fundraiser The Sculpture Project is excited to offer a fun way for the community to help to raise money for a life-size bronze statue of Elisabeth M. Bennet that will be installed on the lawn of Bennet Academy in June of 2023. They will host a Mini-Golf Tournament. at Mar-Lea Miniature Golf. Shotgun start at 10am and check-in begins at 9am. The ticket price includes: use of ball and putter, trophy for low scores in Junior and Senior Divisions, including a coveted Green Jacket for the winner in each Division, opportunity to compete for the title of “Manchester’s Best Putter “ and Hole in One prize. After play is over all ticket holders will receive a complimentary lunch at Bobby T’s Hot Dog Cart, located on the Mar-Lea grounds. The cost is $25.00 for children ages 14 and over and adults. Children 13 and under are $10 and must be accompanied on the course by an adult. MARC, Inc. Celebrates 70th Birthday! MARC, Inc. of Manchester is pleased to announce that it will celebrate 70 years of serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. A community celebration will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organizers request RSVP by June 1st at www.marcct.org/birthday where more details can be found. Established in 1952, MARC, Inc. provides the opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives of independence, choice, inclusion, and continuous personal growth. [11:00am] Woodbridge Farmstead Open House
Join the Woodbridge Farmstead Committee for a day at the farm. The Visitor Center has displays showing some of the history of the Manchester Green area. Take a self-guided tour through our 18th century barn and a guided tour of our 1830s farmhouse. Refreshments will be available, and some games set up for the children. Submit a name for our new display cow in the old barn. A Woodbridge Farmstead tee shirt will be given in July to the person whose chosen name is picked for our cow. Parking available off Woodbridge Street behind the barn and through the gate. Please be careful entering and exiting our parking area. Overflow parking is also available at the nearby Senior Center.

The Manchester Lions Club is proud to announce the resumption the Famous Rubber Duck Race (suspended last year due to Covid). This is a fun family event and is a major fundraiser for the Lions Club as all funds are returned to Manchester non-profit organizations. Cash prizes will be awarded.
